Cancellation & Refund Policy – Gir Safari (Wildlife Safari Tourism)

At Wildlife Safari Tourism, operating under the brand Gir Safari, we strive to provide a smooth, transparent, and hassle-free booking experience for all our guests. Since safari slots are limited and confirmed in coordination with local safari operators, cancellations and rescheduling requests are subject to the following conditions:

1. Cancellation by Guest

  • 7 days or more before safari date: 100% refund of the booking amount
  • 3 to 6 days before safari date: 50% refund of the booking amount
  • Less than 72 hours before safari date: No refund will be provided

2. Rescheduling Policy

  • Guests may request to reschedule their safari date (subject to availability)
  • Rescheduling requests must be made at least 72 hours before the original booking date
  • If rescheduling is not possible, the standard cancellation terms will apply

3. Cancellation by Gir Safari

In rare situations, we may cancel your safari due to:

  • Unforeseen natural conditions (heavy rain, flooding, etc.)
  • Safety concerns or restrictions by forest authorities
  • Unavailability of safari slots despite confirmed payment

In such cases, guests can choose either:

  • Rescheduling to the next available slot, or
  • Full refund of the booking amount within 7–10 business days

4. Refund Timelines

  • Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method used at the time of booking
  • Refunds are typically credited within 7–10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider

5. Important Notes

  • Gir Safari is a private safari booking service, operated by Wildlife Safari Tourism (MSME Registered – UDYAM-RJ-26-0070627)
  • We are not a government agency and operate independently in coordination with licensed safari operators
  • Refunds will not be provided for “no-shows” (failure to arrive at the safari pickup point on time)
  • If you booked through a third-party travel portal, their cancellation and refund policies will apply
